Youth Services and Information

Can We Help?

Can we help? is a community awareness initiative of the City of Wagga Wagga.

Throughout January 2017, the City of Wagga Wagga developed a community awareness initiative geared at vulnerable young people (with support from Mission Australia). You may notice these eye catching posters on bus shelters across the city, aimed at addressing four critical areas facing our youth today. These include homelessness, mental health, food relief and disability.

They provide young people with easy access to information about a range of community services, community groups and government organisations, who can provide assistance in these four areas.
*Updated on 14th September 2017- Please note: As of 12th September 2017, Wagga Wagga City Council were informed that the contact details for Micah House located on the food services poster have now changed. They have merged with Edel Quinn Shelter and now share the same contact information: (02) 5942 3555*

A youth services directory and map has also been compiled containing further details of additional services and programs for young people across the city. To access these, please click the links below.

Please note, if you are unsure of where to go or who to call regarding your mental health, please seek assistance from your General Practitioner (Doctor). There are also a range of 24 hour crisis telephone numbers, these can be found below.

If you are experiencing an emergency however, please call 000.

For other community services that may be available, please search using the City of Wagga Wagga's online Community Directory.
