Mobile Food Vehicle Trial

Residents are requesting greater choice and convenience in food and beverage options at Wagga Wagga’s many recreation and open space areas. Through better activation of these locations it is anticipated that there would be positive social, economic and security impacts.

Established and start-up food and beverage businesses have also identified this market need with several submitting requests to operate mobile food vehicles on Wagga Wagga City Council owned land. This presents an opportunity for these businesses to either expand their market, or start something new.

Council will be working closely with businesses in the Wagga Wagga region to identify impacts related to the operation of mobile food vending vehicles during the course of this trial. Data and feedback collected as part of the trial will aid in consultation with the local community and determination of a path forward.
