An exhibition celebrating the extraordinary radio, stage & screen career of Bill Kerr: The Boy from Wagga Wagga. Featuring film and theatre photography, original posters and memorabilia that are of great local and national significance. This exhibition is a partnership between the Museum of the Riverina and Dr Neill Overton from the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, Charles Sturt Universtiy, Wagga Wagga.
My Little Museum is a HSIE stage 2 education program that allows students to explore the theme of cultural diversity and migration while introducing them to aspects of Wagga's history and the Museum of the Riverina's permanent collection. This program includes an introductory classroom visit and portable education kit in a suitcase.
Dress is an important feature of human society.
Using significant examples from the Museum of the Riverina's
permanent collection, Dressed for the Occasion will explore
textiles from 1855 to today, uncovering some histories hidden
in the layers of Wagga's clothing.

The Museum of the Riverina is now an Affiliate of the NSW Companion Card. The Companion Card allows people with a severe and profound disability, who require attendant care at events and venues, to participate without having to pay for a second ticket for their attendant at affiliated organisations.
Reminiscence Boxes
The Museum of the Riverina offers a free Reminiscence Box loan service for use in group work with seniors, by aged care activity officers and community groups.
There are now 6 themed boxes, each with items of significance to the lives of elderly people - to encourage reminiscence through touch, sight, sound and smell.
Each box is available for 2 week loan, subject to availability.
