Youth Services

The Wagga Wagga City Library has an area dedicated to the youth of the growing community of Wagga Wagga. The Youth Area is located beneath the stairs and features:

  • a glass enclosed view of the lagoon gardens
  • comfortable sofas and beanbags
  • computers for internet, word processing and printing
  • an Xbox 360 and various games available to play for one hour sessions
  • novels
  • CDs
  • magazines
  • graphic novels
  • professional staff to answer your queries
  • quality information databases such as Points of View Reference Center  which presents arguments for and against controversial, global issues.

Information on resources such as books, CDs, study guides and magazines may be accessed via the Riverina Regional Library catalogue. Resources from the Youth collection are available for loan and can be accessed during library hours. Requests may be made for items out on loan or owned by a branch library by talking to the staff at the ground level desk until 1pm or at the Information Desk at the top of the stairs. Requests may also be made online by selecting 'reserve title'.

 Unleash Magazine is an online magazine about various important issues written by youth, for youth.
