Celebrating the Voice - The Indigenous Writers' Night, an initiative of the South Coast Writers Centre, Centre for Canadian Australian Studies and the University of Wollongong's Woolyungah Indigenous Centre, is currently in its ninth year. In accordance with its expansion last year to the NSW South Coast, there are plans for it to travel this year to Wagga Wagga and hopefully Albury. Visiting authors, Auntie Barbara Nicholson, Elizabeth Hodgson and Ernie Blackmore will combine with local writers and poets John Muk Muk Burke and Donna Kirby in reading their ongoing works.
