About the AirportThe Airport is Commonwealth (RAAF) owned. The civil side was leased by Wagga Wagga City Council in 1992 for 30 years. The Airport covers an area of approximately 500 acres (202 Hectares). Two Runways: - Sealed Runway, 1768m (length) x 45m (width)
- Grassed Runway, 1526m (length) x 30m (width)
Airport Income Council derives income from the airport in three main ways:
- Rent from sub-leased sites
- Landing fees (per Tonne)
- Passenger Levy (per head)
