Pet of the Week
Hi my name is Prancer and I'm looking for a new home. I am a male wolfhound approx 2 years old. I love attention and need some room to run around, so if you have a large back yard with good fences and would like a big dog for a best friend, please come down and meet me. I do have some manners and I am always willing to please. I can be adopted from the Glenfield Road Animal Shelter for $249.70 which includes micro-chipping, lifetime registration, de-sexing, vaccination, de-worming, heartworm test and vet check. If you wish to meet me, the shelter is open between 1.00pm and 4.15pm weekdays. The Animal Management Rangers will be happy to answer any questions and can be contacted on 02 6932 9051, 0429 317 018, 0428268620 or 0429 699 211 during business hours. Tip of the Week: Do you know where your cat is? If your cat is allowed to roam and since you are responsible for your cat, you are required to make sure that the cat is not causing a nuisance in the neighbourhood. As a responsible cat owner, Council suggests that you bring your cat in at night or have a "cat run" in the yard so the cat has a safe place to explore.

Tip of the week: Tip of the week: Put a name tag on your pets. Just a small disc with the pet's name and your current phone numbers is quite sufficient. That way if your pet does go missing and someone does find your pet, it will enable them to return your pet quickly and without a visit to the Shelter. Furthermore, this type of identification tag is a legal requirement and on the spot fines are applicable if dogs are found without either of these tags. |
