About Us

The role of the Companion Animal Management Officers is to investigate complaints made by the public regarding straying dogs, barking dogs, dog attacks, nuisance cats and straying stock.

The officers also manage the Glenfield Road Animal Shelter by caring for impounded animals, and attempt to rehouse abandoned animals.

Any investigation or action undertaken by the officers are in accordance with local policy and the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998.
