Where Does the Waste Go?The material in each of the bins is disposed of in separate locations, these being: - Domestic and Commercial garbage - at the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre
- Recyclables - at Kurrajong Recyclers material recovery facility
- Greenwaste - at the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre
As a result, if the incorrect materials are placed in any of the bins, the cost of sorting each of the waste streams becomes more expensive. These additional costs would then be reflected in your rates or in extra rent. Please help us maintain this efficient and viable service! Want More Bins?Additional bin services are available for domestic garbage, green waste or recycling. Commercial premises only receive a 240 litre garbage bin as part of their general garbage rates, but may be able to receive a green waste and recycling bin at additional cost. Contact Council on 1300 292 442 for more information. Waste Collection Map and CalendarHousehold garbage is collected weekly. Recycling & Green Waste bins are collected on the same day as household garbage - but fortnightly. To find out what day your Recycle bins are collected refer to our PDF map.
