Refunds & Exchanges

The Civic Theatre has a no refunds policy to align with the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. The no refunds policy is outlined below:

Tickets are not refundable. Refunds are only available as per the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. You have the right to a refund if the event to which you purchased an authorised ticket is cancelled, rescheduled (and you cannot attend the rescheduled event) or significantly relocated.

We do not give refunds under any other circumstances including changing your mind, sickness or holidays. To add to this, the following information relates to subscribers and subscription season shows:

However as a subscriber you may transfer a booking to another 2016 season show, subject to availability of seats. Tickets must be returned to the Box Office with a minimum of 48 hours' notice before the booked performance. Should the minimum of five shows not be met, the full ticket price may be charged for the balance of the tickets.
