Council established a Public Access Session to allow community members to address Councillors on any matter within Council’s responsibility. The purpose of the Session is to provide an additional forum for community members to have access to Councillors to speak on matters outside the agenda of the meeting before them.
The Public Access Session will be held one week prior to the scheduled Ordinary Council meeting in accordance with the adopted Guideline.
Members of the public wishing to address Councillors at the Public Access Session must complete the appropriate Public Access Session Form and return it to Council by 10.00am on the day of the meeting.
Development Assessment and Policy Public Forum

Council established a Development Assessment and Policy Public Forum to provide an additional form of communication and consultation, and to facilitate an opportunity for the community to engage with Councillors about matters which may be considered with a development application or strategic planning matter scheduled for the next available Ordinary Council meeting or a Council policy or plan on public exhibition at the time of the Forum.
The Forum will be held one week prior to the scheduled Ordinary Council meeting in accordance with the adopted Terms of Reference.
A brief agenda including Development Application Section 79C Reports, Strategic Planning Reports and Attachments and Policies on exhibition will be available on Council’s website three days prior to the meeting.
Members of the public wishing to address Councillors at the Planning and Policy Public Forum must complete the appropriate Public Address Form and return it to Council by 10.00 am on the day of the meeting.
Where there are no development applications or strategic planning matters on the agenda for that month’s Ordinary Council meeting AND no Council policies or plans on public exhibition as at the date of the meeting, no Planning and Policy Public Forum will be held.
