Wagga Wagga Local Achievement Awards

The Wagga Wagga Local Achievement Awards are co-presented by Wagga Wagga City Council and Daryl Maguire MP, Member for Wagga Wagga. The community awards recognise and celebrate the contributions of a diverse group of active leaders and community role models who undertake volunteer activities in the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.

The Wagga Wagga Local Achievement Awards (formerly known as the Community Service Awards) celebrate the contributions that volunteers make across five key categories including: Diversity and Inclusion, Education, Healthy and Active Living, Arts and Culture and Intergenerational Leadership.

The nomination process is free and any resident of the City of Wagga Wagga aged 50 years and over can be nominated. The Intergenerational Leadership award however, is open to people aged between 12 - 25 years and 50 years and over.

Nominations must be received by 5pm Friday, 16 March 2018. No late submissions will be considered.
