Annual Grants Program 2017/2018
Each year, Council invites community organisations, groups and in some categories, individuals, in the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area to make an application for funding as part of Council's Annual Grants Program. $175000 will be available for the Annual Grants Program 2017/2018 to help support our local communities.
The Annual Grants Program 2017-2018 will open 9am Monday 20 March 2017.
Grant categories and amounts available:
Community Health & Wellbeing - Community Programs & Projects
$500 - $3000
Community Health & Wellbeing - Recreational Facilities
$500 - $7500
Connected Rural & Urban Communities - Neighbourhood & Rural Villages
$500 - $3000
Connected Rural & Urban Communities - Rural Halls
$5000 - $10,000
Arts and Culture
$1000 - $4000
$500 - $16,800
$500 - $3000
$250 - $2500
How to apply:
- Read the Annual Grants Program Guidelines and the Wagga View Community Strategic Plan and begin preparing your application
- Attend an Annual Grants Program briefing (recommended)
- Fill in the online application form that corresponds to the category you wish to apply for.
The Annual Grants Program is currently CLOSED. The 2017/2018 round will open 9am Monday 20 March 2017.
Applicants are encouraged to attend an Annual Grants Program briefing to learn how to use the SmartyGrants online application form and to discuss your application with the relevant Grants Officer.
When: AM session: Tuesday 4 April 2017 at 10am to 11:30am. PM session: Wednesday 3 May 2017 at 6pm to 7:30pm
Where: Council Meeting Room, Wagga Wagga Civic Centre, Cnr Morrow and Baylis Streets Wagga Wagga
**All day parking available in Cross Street car park, cnr Tarcutta/Cross Street car park. Four mobility parking bays available on Morrow Street, adjacent to the Civic Centre.

The Annual Grants Program 2016-2017 provided funding to a range of deserving community organisations, groups and individuals. Applications were assessed by grant specific panels comprising of a Councillor, Council staff and an external community representative. Successful applications were recommended and endorsed at the Ordinary Council Meeting in July 2016.
