Wagga Christmas

Get ready Wagga Wagga - the Christmas trail is back!

The man in the big red suit, Mrs Claus and their merry helpers will be cruising our suburb streets for Wagga Wagga's annual Christmas trail.

Santa is inviting all the good kids in Wagga Wagga to come out and meet him and Mrs Claus before they must dash off for final Christmas Eve preparations – Rudolf’s nose can’t polish itself, you know!

Mr and Mrs Claus will start their magical tour on Wednesday 6 December at Gobbagombalin, before jingling their way to Henwood Park in Kooringal and the Botanic Gardens in Turvey Park.

Santa, Mrs Claus and their elves have personally told us that they would love a grand entrance when they arrive at each location. So, if you are popping down be sure to dress in your Christmas best and even jingle some bells to welcome Santa’s motorcade when he arrives at your neighbourhood park.

A Very Wagga Christmas is a program of festive community events, including our city’s merry and bright Christmas flags, stars and lights, the Christmas trail and the New Year’s Eve community celebrations at Apex Park, Lake Albert.

  • Some of Santa’s friends will be disembarking to perform a short set of Christmas tunes
  • As Santa is on a tight schedule in the lead up to Christmas Eve, Santa CANNOT take requests to stop at certain streets or locations. Please take special note of the stopover locations and times above and Santa will see you there
