People are jewellery's platform, and as a medium, jewellery is a mirror to mankind's ideas and aspirations. Put yourself in the picture by visiting Encounters. This exhibition will showcase the work of graduates from the BA Jewellery and Master of Arts Practice, conducted at the School of Communication and Creative Industries, Charles Sturt University.
The work on show charts the individual paths of enquiry that these students have taken to attain the skill and knowledge that underpin their award. Common to all in this exhibition is the sensitive manner in which materials and techniques, both old and new, have been used to achieve distinctive and original creative visions.
